Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
We want every guest to be able to read this site and enjoy an evening with us. This statement describes where we are and what we are still improving.
On this website
- Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate by structure.
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images.
- Labelled form fields with error messages announced in text, not colour alone.
- Visible focus outlines and full keyboard operation for menus and forms.
- Colour combinations chosen to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast for body text.
- Animations that are decorative only, and that respect your operating system's reduced-motion setting.
- A map that loads only on request, so the page stays light on slow connections.
We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 level AA. Some third-party embeds, such as the map, are outside our direct control.
At the venue
Our ground-floor dining room is reachable without stairs from the main entrance, and our team is glad to help with seating, to read the menu aloud, to suggest a quieter table away from the stage, or to accommodate a wheelchair or pram at your table. Tell us when you book and we will have everything ready.
Telling us about a problem
If something on this site or at the venue was hard to use, we would genuinely like to know. Email gravityrestopubpondy@gmail.com or call +91 99446 64415 with a short description and the page or area involved. We aim to reply within five working days and to offer an alternative way to complete whatever you were trying to do.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-off project. We review new pages and images as we add them, and we update this statement when something meaningful changes.
